This debate will include candidates Scott Jackson, Matthew Corcoran, and Charles Baltayan. Questions, submitted by neighborhood groups throughout Hamden, will focus on open space concerns and the environment.

Powder Farm Walk - CANCELLED
Join the Hamden Land Conservation Trust for a guided Nature Walk at Olin's Powder Farm in Hamden. This is a leisurely walk through 102 acres of forest, lakes and trails abutting the Farmington Canal Greenway, led by Hamden Land Conservation Trust members. We will look for birds as well as wildflowers while discussing the property's history. The property was used during World War II for munitions testing. Bunkers used for storage of gun powder can be seen along the trails. Sponsored by The Hamden Land Conservation Trust and The Olin Corporation, this hidden gem is usually closed to the public. Located on Putnam Avenue, 1/4 east of Dixwell Avenue. Park at Stop and Shop and walk to the gate. Admission is free and open to all. Rain will cancel the event.
