Executive Board

Gail Cameron, President
A lifelong Hamden resident, Gail grew up with Sleeping Giant in her backyard. Perhaps that is where her love for nature began. She graduated from the College of Agriculture at UCONN and went on to work for more than 44 years at the Yale Medical School. Now retired, she enjoys having the time to hike, bird and care for her many pets. She is a Master Wildlife Conservationist with the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection, Vice President and Environmental Stewardship Chair of the Sleeping Giant Park Association and volunteers on multiple projects with Connecticut Audubon. She loves crafting, spinning yarn and spending time with her family. Gail is honored to lead the Hamden Land Trust as it begins its 50th anniversary.
